The Historic Dockyard Chatham concludes it’s 2015 exhibition season with an eclectic selection of fine art by leading advocate of the English land and seascape, Rowland Hilder OBE.
Nettie from the gallery will be co-curating this exhibition, which promises to be exceptional. It includes many of the paintings that made Rowland’s name synonomous with Kentish and winter landscapes.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the reconstruction of part of Hilder’s studio, visitors will be able to capture the inspiring atmosphere of his studio and what it meant to him. Together with many of his iconic paintings andl illustrations, some of which have never been on show before, this exhibition is definitely not to be missed!
Franics Iles have produced a booklet to accompany this exhibition reproducing many of the paintings and illustrations in the show. Available to buy at the exhibition or through Francis Iles Galleries
