Sandra Elliott’s detailed pen and ink drawings have attracted much admiration and comment from customers who find it hard to believe that such finely executed work can be achieved by hand. The technique used is a combination of traditional pen and ink methods and etching which takes the form of minute hatching in different densities and depth which allows her to bring so much light and atmosphere into what are essentially compositions in black and white.
Sandra’s love of historical architecture can clearly be seen in her evocative work which has a sublime three dimensional quality to it, and which also manages to combine the past with the present.
