Ken Turner is one of our most enduring Artists. Showing with Francis Iles Galleries since the early 70’s, his name has become synonymous with exquisite wildlife painting.
A true observer, Ken depicts nature as he sees it, from ladybirds bending blades of grass, pheasants bejautifully camouflaged in snow to ducks rising from the water. Evocatively portrayed in all conditions, from most to fog, bright summer sun, to dusky evening light.
Following an unnerving heart-attack, there has been a dearth of work from Ken in the gallery in recent years. Now fully recovered, we couldn’t be more pleased to see that not only has he recovered his health, but is back in top form with his painting and drawing. In his quest to be as close to nature as possible, he had a narrow boat built and now lives happily on the canals of Berkshire.
