ARTIST OF THE MONTH:
Loes Agoust
The garden of Loës Agoust, which was situated on the Welsh Borders, and from which she has just moved into a temporary house, must have been an incredible sight to behold. When she was not painting she was weeding, planting, re-planting or sometimes digging drainage ditches ! Now between houses she has transferrred her attention to the Welsh Coastline for the moment.
We had tea wth her in late January and found her full of plans for her new house and garden which is being created from a semi derelict cottage. Luckily she has been working hard for us and her slot as our featured artist for the Spring Exhibition. She has handed over to us a portfoio of fabulous seascapes as well as some of her best ever pictures from her late garden.
We present just ten of her wide range of pictures for this exhibition here which are now being shown at the Gallery.
