Katya Gridneva

Katya was born in the USSR (Ukraine) in 1965. From 1991 she attended drawing classes at the Academy of Fine Arts, St Petersburg. From 1993 to 1999 she went on to study in the portrait studio at the Academy before moving to the UK. She has shown successfully at many London galleries, particularly at The Mall Galleries and here for four years at Francis Iles whre she now has a wide following. Her fine portraiture is widely admired both here and in her native Ukraine, winning awards and plaudits in equal measure.
